The American Junior Golf Associations annual stop in the Lakes Region wraps-up Thursday with two winners crowned, including one making a repeat performance.
Bowen Ballis of Texas shots a three under par 210 to claim his second straight Boys Division Championship at the Bass Pro Shops/Payne Stewart Junior Championships at Buffalo Ridge.
Ballis, who has verbally committed to play collegiate golf at Vanderbilt University, carded 13 birdies during the week including all three rounds on the first hole. Four golfers tied for second place finishing two shots back.
Meanwhile, the Girls Division was won by Wenyue (Sonia) Hao from China who currently lives in Texas. Hao shot one over par 214 to win by a stroke. The highest finisher among southwest Missouri golfers was Lyla Louderbaugh of Buffalo who finished with a 215 to take second in the girls division.
