Several softball teams from around the region will be in Branson for a tournament that honors the first coach of the Lady Pirate Program.
The Mary Arnold Festival will include games at both the Branson Rec Plex and Ballparks of America both Friday and Saturday. The Friday games at the Rec Plex originally scheduled for the afternoon, have been moved to morning due to the extreme heat while games at Ballparks on Friday will be played in the evening.
Branson games in the festival are all scheduled for the Rec Plex including 8:00 am Friday against Mannford and 11:00 am against Dale while Saturday games are at 8:00 am against Bartlesville and at 9:30 am against Muldrow.
Mary Arnold was the Head Coach of the Branson Lady Pirate program from the program's beginning in 1998 until her retirement in 2015.
The opening game of the Classic Friday morning at 8:00 between the Lady Pirates and Mannford can be heard on MOARK Sports.
