Friday night marked the final preseason scrimmages and jamborees in preparation for the 2026 High School Football Season.

The Branson Pirates complete their annual Red-Black Scrimmage Game at Pirate Stadium in front of parents and fans. The Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman programs all went through controlled situations with light hitting as the Varsity Pirates get set for their season opener next Friday at home against Harrison in the Pella Windows and Doors Border Battle.

The Goblins held their final preparations earlier this week playing a benefit scrimmage game at Rogers-Heritage on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, other MOARK Schools were at Preseason Jamborees on Friday night including Forsyth who traveled to Mount Vernon, Hollister who made the trip to Sarcoxie, and Reeds Spring who played at Rogersville.

Besides the Harrison-Branson match-up, the other contests to open the High School Football Season includes Ava at Forsyth, Hollister at Berryville, and Reeds Spring at Springfield Parkview.

A discussion of the Branson Red-Black Scrimmage plus a preview of High School Football can be heard at MOARK Sports.
