Branson Takes 5th
For the second week in a row, the Branson Boys overcome an opening round loss to win out at a tournament.
After a fifth place finish at the Pittsburg, Kansas Tournament, the Pirates overcome a loss to Thayer in the opening round of the Liberator Invitational at Bolivar to win two games, knocking off Warrensburg Friday 70-33 before getting win over the host Liberators on Saturday 70-64. The win evens Branson's record at 10-10.
Forsyth Avenges Loss to Strafford
Just over a week after Strafford defeated Forsyth in the semi-finals of the Spokane Tournament, the Panthers win the rematch in Strafford on Friday as they knock off the Indians 61-56. The two girls teams also played with the Strafford securing a 70-35 win which ended a three game Lady Panther winning streak.
