The annual start of the area High School Sports Season will take place on the golf course.
The first teams in the region that can start their seasons are the Arkansas High School Golf Teams with several schools teeing off today.
One of the big events of the first week takes place in Mountain Home, as the Bombers host their annual golf tournament. Mountain Home Golf Coach Dell Leonard tells KTLO that over 100 golfers will play in the two-day tournament. Harrison is one of the school that will take part in the tournament at Big Creek Golf and Country Club with Bergman and Flippin also taking part.
