The Holiday Basketball Tournaments are in the books for 2025.
The final day of the Lendel Thomas Classic saw the Earle Lady Bulldogs use a smothering defense in the second half to outrun the Branson Lady Pirates 65-41 for the title while Bergman ran past Harrison in the third-place game 54-32. Viloa took fifth and Cutter Morning Star seventh in the classic.
The Boys Games were close throughout the day with Van Buren holding off Vilonia in the title game 61-57 while Harrison beat Carthage in overtime 61-53 for third and Earle holding off Bergman 61-58. Mena won a close game over Marshall for seventh place.
Meanwhile in Highland, Forsyth finishes second in the Maverick Division of the Bad Boys Mowers Tournament, losing the title game to Flippin 68-43.
