A win last week positions the Harrison Lady Goblin Volleyball team into first place in the conference standings.

The Harrison Lady Goblins volleyball team put together one of its most complete performances of the season Thursday night, sweeping the visiting Gravette Lady Lions 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-16) at Goblin Arena to move into sole possession of first place in the 4A-1 Conference.
With the victory, Harrison improves to 5-0 in league play and 13-2 overall, continuing a strong stretch of play as the Lady Goblins push toward a conference title.
Harrison controlled the match from the opening set, using a balanced attack and aggressive serving to build separation early and never let Gravette back into contention over the final two frames. The Lady Goblins hit .330 as a team compared to just .118 for the Lady Lions, and out-killed Gravette 44-25 while holding a decisive edge at the service line with 12 aces to Gravette's two.
Harrison's defense was equally stout, piling up 52 digs and five blocks while forcing 36 Gravette errors. The Lady Goblins also served at an 85 percent clip, a number that speaks to the discipline behind Thursday's win.
Leading the way at the net, senior Grace Jennings turned in a standout all-around performance, hitting .615 to pace the Harrison attack while also posting a team-best 1.5 average serve rating. Lily Burns added a .400 hitting percentage, and Mollie Lineberger (.375) and Mia Miller (.333) rounded out a Harrison attack that gave Gravette's defense fits all night.
At the service line, Shelby Walls led all players with a 1.6 average serve rating, with Jennings (1.5), Stevie Jones (1.4) and Burns (1.4) close behind — a group effort that helped Harrison dictate tempo from start to finish.
Colbie Ricketts (.231 hitting, 1.3 serve rating) and Holly Keeter (.208 hitting, 1.0 serve rating) also factored heavily into the win, while Adalee Roberts and Charli Kolb saw time on the floor as Harrison rotated its lineup throughout the sweep.
The Lady Goblins play this week at Prairie Grove on Tuesday followed by a home match against Gentry on Thursday.
