Missouri Postseason Track Meets are underway.
On May 9, all area schools took part in District Track Meets except Branson, who had their Class 5 District Meet this weekend while other schools wee in Sectional Meets trying to qualify for next weekend's State Meet in Jefferson City.

Branson
The Class 5 Pirates and Lady Pirates were in the District Meet at Springfield Parkview on Saturday. The Pirates claimed two District Championships with Hunter Reynolds winning the Boys 110 Hurdles along with the Girls winning the 4 x 200 Meter Relay. The Pirates qualified for next week's Sectional Meet in Waynesville next Saturday.
Reeds Spring
The Wolves Track Programs took home four District Championships in the Class 3 Event last week at Lamar with Mason Tuner getting a Boys First First Place finish in the Triple Jump with Lady Wolves team members claiming three tittles, Emmarae Thompson in the 100 Meter Hurdles, Isabelle Sooter in the Long Jump, and Grace Chastain in the Pole Vault. In the Sectional Meet Saturday, all three qualified for next week's State Meet by finishing in the top four. Dane Thierbach also qualified in the Boys 800 Meter Run while Allie Johnson also qualified in the High Jump.
Hollister
While the Tigers did not claim any District Titles, Distance Runner Sinry Mendoza finished second in his races moving him on to Saturday's Sectional Meet in Buffalo, where Mendoza took home first place in the 800, 1600, and 3200 Meter Runs. Other Hollister athletes qualifying for State include Mendoza's Boys Team Jaivyn Brayfield who qualified in the High Jump while Lady Tigers qualifying include Bella Cavins in the 200 Meter Run along with the 4 x 800 Meter Relay Team.
Forsyth
Brynlie Yarnell, who claimed last week's Girls Class 3 District Title 1600 Meter Run along with a third in the 3200 Meter Run, finished second and fourth in those races at the Sectional Meet to move on to the State Meet.
Blue Eye
The Boys 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 Meter Relay Teams took home Class 1 District Titles last week as did Isaac Harper in the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles. In the Class 1 Sectional at Nixa Saturday, the 4 x 100 Relay Team finished first again while the 4 x 200 Team took second and Harper third to move on to the State Meet. The Girls 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 Meter Relay Teams also qualify for State as does Izzlee Brown in the Boys 110 Hurdles.
Among other Lakes Region Schools, the School of the Ozarks were in two different District Meets. The Boys were at the Class 2 District at Cuba with Kellen Robertson winning the Boys 1600 Meter Run. Robertson won that race and the 3200 Meter Run at the Sectional Saturday in Buffalo to qualify for State with the 4 x 800 Meter Relay Team also advancing to State. The Girls meanwhile were at Greenfield High School for the Class 1 Meet where they used seven First Places finished to take the team title. Two Lady Patriots repeated those first place finishes at the Sectional Meet with Ella Howard winning the 3200 Meter Run and Claire Knight the Triple Jump. The Lady Patriots qualified in 10 events for the State Meet.
Crane had two Class 2 Sectional Champions, Andrew Faucett in the Boys Discus and Owen Vaught in the Boys Javelin. The Pirates and Lady Pirates combined to qualify in seven events for the State Meet.
Galena makes the Class 1 State Meet in three events. The Boys 4 x 800 Meter Relay team will be joined by Jaiona Bailey in the Girls Shot Put and Maggie Sullivan in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles.
