While the Forsyth Lady Panthers were winning the Softball District Title on one part of the campus, the Panther Boys Tennis Team were doing the same on the other side of campus.
The Panthers completed the four-team district on the Jack Harrison Courts on Tuesday, defeating New Covenant Academy 5-3 in the title match. The win moves the Panthers to the State Sectional next week against Rogersville.
In addition to the team tournament, Forsyth is sending five players to the Individual and Double's Sectional competition. Singles player Drue Coen along with the doubles teams of Wesley Michael Meister & Ryan Deroo and Willis Bearden & Griffin Coen finished in the top two in district play and will compete in the Class 1 Sectionals on a date TBD.
