The Marshall Bobcats see their bid for a 2A Boys Basketball Championship fall short.
East Poinsett County overcomes a fourth quarter deficit to hold off the Bobcats 68-61 in the final game of the State Championship Week in Hot Springs.
The Bobcats, who took home second place last season as well, took a 53-47 lead to the fourth quarter only to see their opponent finish the game on a 21-8 run to claim the state championship.
The Bobcats were paced by Payton DePriest with 17 points.
Marshall finishes the season 28-7.
