MOARK Feature Games: Pirates Sweep Contests at Home

Two games taking place next to each other and both covered on MOARK Sports result in wins for the home team.

At Lady Pirate Field, the Branson Softball team overcomes a slow start to down Bolivar 16-6 in a game that ended in six innings due to the 10 Run Rule.

The Lady Pirates rebounded from the Lady Liberator four-run first with two runs in the bottom of the first followed by a seven-run second inning that gave them the lead for good. Jocelyn McQueen and Savi Engel each had three hits in a game that saw every Lady Pirate batter get at least one hit. McQueen had four RBI in the contest.

The win moves the Lady Pirates to 3-2 in Ozark Mountain Conference play.

Meanwhile next door at Pirates Stadium, the Branson Soccer Pirates got two early goals then held on to edge Rogersville 2-1. The Pirates held off several Wildcat charges down the stretch to secure the win and send Rogersville to only their second loss of the season. The Pirates get to 2-2 in OMC Play with the win.

Archive broadcasts of both games can be found on the MOARK Sports Website.
