The home stretch of the spring sports season includes the start of Missouri Postseason Softball this week.
Last Week
Among the highlights from the past week included a big road win for the Forsyth Baseball Panthers as they netted a 4-2 win at Strafford to secure the Mid-Lakes Conference Baseball Championship as well as the inside track to the Class 3 District Baseball Top Seed. The Branson Pirates also had a good week, including a Monday win on a game heard on MOARK Sports 5-4 over Glendale. Overall, the Pirates April record is 14-3 with two games left in the month.
The Forsyth Lady Panthers had a tougher week, including dropping a Wednesday tilt at Ash Grove. The Lady Panthers did earn the fourth seed in the Class 2 District Tournament they will host on Friday.
In Arkansas, the Harrison teams had different results in the final 5A West Road Contests, the Baseball Goblins losing a doubleheader while the Softball Lady Goblins took two games at Russellville.
