The 2026 Edition of the Forsyth Softball Tournament featured four teams that though records were at both ends of the spectrum, all the games turned out competitive.

While the tone was set early with the first four games including a 5-3 Forsyth win over Reeds Spring followed by wins for Springfield Catholic over Forsyth and Cotter and a Cotter 6-0 win over Reeds Spring, the final two games of they day showed the balance of the tournament. 

Springfield Catholic had clinched the tournament title prior to their game against Reeds Spring. However the Lady Wolves had three outs to get to post a 5-1 win but the Lady Irish walked it off with a 6-5 victory. That left Cotter and Forsyth to play for second. The same script almost played out as the Lady Panthers were down to the final three outs trailing 5-1 but rallied to tie the game with each team scoring in the extra inning with the visitors surviving 9-7.
